Kick off your evening in the V Lounge with a glass of wine or try one of their creative cocktails, like the rich “With love, Eddie,” which comes with a personal note from Eddie, the bourbon-forward “Private Plane,” or the “Hope Diamond,” presented with a diamond-shaped ice cube.
Every evening, the V Lounge features live music trios, creating a perfect backdrop with melodies that maintain a volume conducive to easy conversation. If you visit from Sunday to Thursday between 4 to 6:30 p.m., take advantage of select wines by the glass for just $9, hand-shaken cocktails for $10, and specially priced appetizers such as mini filet sandwiches, lollipop lamb chops, and black truffle tartare.
Start your meal with a selection of East or West Coast oysters served on ice with cocktail and mignonette sauces. The Connecticut Blue Points, in particular, are larger and offer a pleasant medium briny flavor. For an extravagant treat, indulge in the Big Eddie tower, brimming with wild jumbo Gulf shrimp, Blue Point oysters, ahi tuna poke, jumbo lump crab, Alaskan king crab, and Maine lobster.
Our friendly and attentive server Jayna was eager to offer suggestions and share insights on the dishes that patrons love most. The tableside steak tartare features hand-chopped center-cut filet mignon mixed at your table with fresh egg yolk, capers, and extra virgin olive oil.
Throughout our visit, Managing Partner Andrew Cregg was seen mingling with diners to ensure everything was to their satisfaction.
When it comes to hot appetizers, the crab cake is an absolute must-try. This restaurant favorite is filled with jumbo lump crab meat, lightly coated with panko, pan-seared to perfection, and topped with a delicious homemade remoulade sauce.
Eddie V’s array of prime seafood includes Chesapeake sea bass prepared Hong Kong-style, caramelized Georges Bank scallops, and sole that is parmesan and crispy panko-encrusted.
For the ultimate pairing, consider ordering a bottle of Oberon cabernet, take a moment to relax, and get ready to be wowed.
As for main courses, indulge in a classic surf and turf featuring a premium hand-cut steak like the exquisitely tender 10-ounce center cut filet mignon, accompanied by a broiled cold water lobster tail and served with drawn butter.
A mouthwatering 18-ounce USDA Prime bone-in New York strip comes with a luscious cognac peppercorn sauce, and becomes even more delightful when paired with butter-poached lobster and aged white cheddar mashed potatoes.
Other side dish options include crab fried rice with mushrooms and scallions; truffled macaroni and cheese; and grilled asparagus seasoned with sea salt and fresh lemon.
Be sure to save room for a standout dessert. The bananas foster butter cake is flambéed tableside for an interactive experience and comes served with butter pecan ice cream and whipped cream.
Additional dessert selections include classic crème brulee, a warm Belgian chocolate cake, fresh berries with cream, and a Meyer lemon tart.
