Who can resist classic cars reimagined for the modern era? We certainly can’t get enough here at The Status Life, and this remarkable RT-ONE creation from New Legend 4×4 is not only adventure-ready to the fullest but also one of the most stylish machines we’ve come across in a while.
The 1976 Scout Terra by New Legend 4×4 has unfortunately been already purchased, and it’s a one-of-a-kind automobile perfectly tailored for all your off-road escapades. This is the inaugural Retro Series Terra crafted by New Legend, featuring the signature New Legend Adventure Package. New Legend’s construction ethos revolves around using “authentic steel” wherever possible, exemplified by the custom extended steel Terra top meticulously crafted in-house, christening this creation the “Terra XL.”
Adding to the allure, this build represents New Legend’s first-ever “overland kitted” Scout, equipped with an array of enhancements ideal for off-road journeys. These additions include a Leitner rear-roof rack system, KC light bar, bed tray system, Anything Scout Workman bumpers, and more.
The 1976 Scout Terra is driven by a 304 cubic inch V8 powerplant generating 225 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. Teamed with a four-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case, the Scout Terra features four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes.
This vehicle is a genuine off-road powerhouse, boasting a ground clearance of 12 inches and a water fording depth of 30 inches. Capable of towing up to 3,000 pounds with a payload capacity of 1,500 pounds, the 1976 Scout Terra stands out as a distinctive and capable choice for your next adventure.
